in Risky Undertaking

at the Inaugural Capital Fringe Festival

Gutsy, odd, funny, and beautiful to watch, their dance stories are quirky and true.  They tell them with their bodies, words, sign language, and live music, with their hearts and weird techniques. “Turtle Theater” depicts the humor and danger of this trip called life. “Millstone” is a fascination from one woman to another.  The four “So Dare” solos include  -- undressing, eating Puffins, stuck on the floor, and on the wall. And yes, the show is appropriate (even fabulous) for your kids.

Josephine Nicholson and Diana Tokaji take the stage  in collaboration with violinist/vocalist Lisa Buchsbaum, saxophonist Elijah Balbed, and sign language dancer, Marcia Freeman.

“Quirky dance-stories sparkling with humor and beauty. “

Dance- theater, music, words, and signs – blended and spicey.”

Risky Undertaking is suitable for the entire family.
